（二）熟练运用语法

语法错误在河源旅游资料翻译错误中经常出现：

1.景区“龟峰塔”有此介绍:“龟峰塔位于河源市源城区东江河畔的龟峰山上，俗称‘老塔’，始建于南宋绍兴二年（1132年），是广东现存有确切年代可考的南宋砖塔，也是岭南地区现存为数不多的宋代佛塔。”

原译文为：Guifeng tower is located in Heyuan City，Yuancheng District Dongjiang River Turtle mountain，commonly known as“old tower”，was built in the Southern Song Dynasty Shaoxing second years （1132），is the Guangdong existing exact date to test of the Southern Song Dynasty pagoda is also in south of the Five Ridges existing a few Song Dynasty Pagoda.

此译文不但句子结构混乱，而且表达不符合英文表达习惯，笔者建议改译为：

Guifeng Pagoda，located on Turtle mountain，Dongjiang river，Yuancheng District of Heyuan City，is commonly known as the“old tower”. It was built in 1132，Shaoxing second years during the Southern Song Dynasty，and is one of the few remaining Five Ridges pagodas built during the same dynasty.

2.太阳岛上介绍“杨梅寨”：一座充满相间韵味，甜蜜与和谐的“杨梅寨”。此句原译文为:

We call them Yang Mei Zhai，which filled with country charm，sweetness and harmonious.

此译文搞混了短语的搭配与词语的词性，笔者建议译文如下：

We call them Yang Mei Zhai，which fill the country with charm，sweetness and harmony.

3.太阳岛上介绍《凤求凰》：每到深秋，象征着雄性的凤（枫树）在所爱的人面前极力展示其绚丽的外表，以自己最出色的一面赢得佳人（樟树）的芳心。此句原译文为：

In autumn，the maples tree stand for the male，and he is called phoenix. He opens up himself in sparking appearance in order to win the love of the female phoenix.

为句子更加简洁与紧凑，更符合英语语法特点，建议采用从句结构，改译为：

In autumn，the maple trees stand for the male “Phoenix”whose branches sparkle in affection to win the love of the camphor tree，which stand for female.

（三）掌握中英文表达区别

汉语重意合，英语重形合。汉语逻辑松散，语义层次不清，靠上下文的语境意义来弥补意义层次的模糊和逻辑松散的不足。而英语逻辑性强，结构严谨，注重意义层次的逻辑性，并用严谨的语法结构形式来体现语用意义。如“忠实”地翻译成英文，则会使外国游客觉得呆板、不自然。
